Privacy Policy

Effective 6 July 2026 · Last updated 6 July 2026

The short version

1. Who we are

Dimana (“Dimana”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a small independent game studio. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit dimana.studio or play our mobile game Strada (together, the “Services”). The data controller for the Services — including for the purposes of the GDPR — is Dimana, contactable at manish.s.narang@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve the Services.

a. Information you give us

  • Email address — only if you choose to join our newsletter or email us for support. We use it to reply to you or to send occasional studio updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  • Support messages — the contents of any email you send us, so we can help.

b. Information collected automatically

  • Anonymous gameplay analytics — events such as levels started or completed, session length, and which features are used. These are aggregated and are not used to identify you.
  • Technical & diagnostic data — app version, device model, operating-system version, language, and crash reports, used to fix bugs and keep the game stable.
  • Basic web logs — when you visit the website, standard server logs may briefly record your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed for security and troubleshooting.

c. What we do not collect

  • No advertising identifiers and no cross-app tracking.
  • No contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location data.
  • No sensitive personal data. Strada does not require you to create an account.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • To understand — in aggregate — how the game is played, so we can design better levels and features.
  • To diagnose crashes and fix bugs.
  • To respond to your support requests and, if you opted in, to send studio news.
  • To protect the Services against fraud, abuse, and security threats.

4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Legitimate interests — running the game, keeping it secure, and improving it with anonymous analytics.
  • Consent — for newsletter emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Contract — to deliver features you request, such as a purchase.

5. Purchases

Strada is free to try for the first week and then a single one-time purchase to keep playing — no subscriptions and no in-app currencies. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your full card number or billing details; we only receive confirmation that a purchase succeeded. Google's handling of your payment is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

6. Service providers we share with

We use a small number of trusted providers, and only for the purposes above. They act on our instructions:

  • Google Play — app distribution, purchases, and crash reporting (Android).
  • An analytics provider — to process anonymous, aggregated gameplay events.
  • Formspree — to deliver newsletter sign-ups and contact-form messages to our inbox.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.

7. Data retention

Gameplay progress lives on your device and is removed when you delete the app or clear its data. Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and for reasonable record-keeping.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

  • Delete your data — clear the app's data on your device, or follow our data deletion guide.
  • Unsubscribe — use the link in any newsletter email, or email us.
  • Make a request — email manish.s.narang@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

9. Children's privacy

Strada is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. International transfers

We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we work to keep the small amount of data we hold safe.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we'll provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.

13. Contact us
